Equipment Needed

To make this delicious Brownie Baked Oats, you will need the following equipment:

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Greased baking tin
  • Oven

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut or almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 2 eggs (or 1/2 cup applesauce or date paste for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • Dark chocolate chips for the top

Optional Sweeteners:

  • 1/4 cup honey or 2 tbsp coconut sugar

Optional Toppings:

  • Nuts or berries

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Prepare the Batter:
    • In a blender, combine the oats, coconut or almond milk, banana, eggs (or applesauce/date paste), baking powder, and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into Baking Tin:
    • Pour the blended mixture into a greased baking tin.
  4. Add Toppings:
    • Sprinkle dark chocolate chips on top of the batter. If you’d like, you can add nuts or berries instead of chocolate chips.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Serve:
    • Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top with coconut yogurt if desired and enjoy!

Note: If you prefer a sweeter mix, add 1/4 cup honey or 2 tbsp coconut sugar to the batter before baking.
