Ingredients for Two Baking Trays:

  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon butter, at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups wheat flour (Type 405)
  • 2 level teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons finely ground nuts (your choice of nuts)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Dark, milk, or white chocolate, melted for dipping
  • Shredded coconut, chopped pistachios, or slivered almonds for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F) with the fan setting on. Line your baking trays with parchment paper.
