Equipment Needed

To make these delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls, you will need the following equipment:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Baking sheet or tray
  • Parchment paper
  • Refrigerator

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup agave or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 tsp almond, coconut, or oat flour
  • 60g (2 scoops) chocolate protein powder
  • 50-75g dark chocolate chips (non-dairy and refined sugar-free), melted (for drizzling, optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp peanut butter (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, agave or maple syrup, optional coconut oil, almond/coconut/oat flour, and chocolate protein powder. Mix well until everything is well combined and forms a thick dough.
  2. Shape into Balls:
    • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls with your hands. Place them on a baking sheet or tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Chill:
    • Place the tray in the refrigerator and let the protein balls chill for at least 1 hour until firm.
  4. Optional Topping:
    • If desired, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the chilled protein balls.
    • You can also drizzle additional peanut butter over the top for extra flavor.
