Ingredients:
For the Puff Pastry:
- 1 packet puff pastry (6 pieces)
- Granulated sugar for sprinkling
For the Custard:
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
For the Whipped Cream:
- 1 packet whipped cream powder
- 1 tea glass (about 100ml) milk
For the Chocolate Sauce:
- 200ml heavy cream
- 200ml milk
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 tea glass (about 50ml) sugar
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions:
- Prepare the Puff Pastry:
- Preheat your oven according to the puff pastry package instructions.
- Cut some of the puff pastry pieces into squares and leave others whole. Sprinkle granulated sugar over them.
- Place the puff pastry pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake until golden and crispy. Let them cool completely.
- Prepare the Custard:
- In a large saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, flour, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla sugar. Let the custard cool to room temperature.
- Prepare the Whipped Cream:
- In a mixing bowl, whip the cream powder with the tea glass of milk until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled custard until well combined.
- Prepare the Chocolate Sauce:
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and cornstarch.
