Ingredients:

  • 200g soft butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g white sugar
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut praline
  • 30g hazelnut powder
  • 400g flour
  • 2g salt
  • 4g baking powder
  • Extra hazelnut praline for filling
  • Milk chocolate chunks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream the soft butter with white and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually mix in the eggs, followed by the hazelnut praline.
  4. Combine the hazelnut powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, and gently fold this into the butter mixture.
  5. Form the dough into 7 large balls. Press a small cavity in each and fill it with extra hazelnut praline. Add a few milk chocolate chunks to each cookie.
  6. Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring ample space between each.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
