  1. Ingredients:
    • Flour (Type 00): 500 grams
    • Egg: 1
    • Chocolate Chips: as needed
    • Sugar: 50 grams
    • Honey: 50 grams
    • White Kefir Milk: 100 milliliters
    • Dry Yeast: 1 packet (7 grams)
    • Hazelnut Chocolate (Venchi): 200 grams
    • White Chocolate Chips: as needed
    • Almond Flakes
    • Egg Yolk: 1 (for glazing)
  2. Preparation:
    • In a bowl, mix half of the flour with yeast, a little milk, and a spoonful of sugar. Let it rise for 20 minutes.
    • Add the remaining flour and other ingredients, including chocolate chips. Knead vigorously for 10-15 minutes. Once the dough is firm and elastic, cover with cling film and let it rise for 2-3 hours.
  3. Shaping the Cornetti:
    • Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 1 cm in a round shape. Spread hazelnut chocolate over it.
    • Place another layer of dough on top, spreading more chocolate and sprinkling white chocolate chips.
    • Cut into wedges and roll from the wide end to the point. Place the cornetti on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let them rest for about an hour.
  4. Baking:
    • Brush the cornetti with egg yolk and sprinkle almond flakes as desired. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 30-35 minutes or until golden.
  5. Finishing Touches:
    • Once baked, drizzle honey over the cornetti.
