Ingredients:

  • 50g butter
  • 1 cup sliced almonds

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pudding:
    • Cook pudding using milk, vanilla sugar, sugar, and vanilla pudding powder. Let cool covered.
    • Whip cream with cream stabilizer (or whipped cream powder as an alternative).
    • Mix the cooled pudding and whipped cream thoroughly.
  2. Make the Sponge Cake:
    • Whip eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and warm water until frothy.
    • Sift in flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and gently fold into the egg mixture.
    • Spread the batter thinly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Caramelized Almonds:
    • Caramelize sugar in a pan. Add butter and stir until melted.
