Decoration Tips

Enhance the beauty of your tartlets with these simple decoration tips:

  1. Fresh Berries: Top each tartlet with a few fresh red berries for a vibrant and fresh look.
  2. Nut Crumble: Sprinkle crushed nuts over the chocolate glaze for added texture and visual appeal.
  3. Edible Flowers: Add a touch of elegance with a few edible flowers on top.
  4. Coconut Flakes: Lightly sprinkle unsweetened coconut flakes over the tartlets for a tropical twist.

Ingredients for 3 Tartlets:

For the Base:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 90g gluten-free oat flakes (adjust as needed for consistency)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut, hazelnut, cashew butter)

For the Filling:

  • 4 teaspoons sugar-free jam (recipe in my previous post)
  • Optional: 1 small handful of crushed pecans (or almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts)

For the Glaze:

  • 50g dark chocolate
  • Pinch of fleur de sel

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
  3. Add the gluten-free oat flakes and almond butter to the mashed banana and mix well with a spatula. Let the mixture rest for 10-15 minutes. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more oats.
  4. Divide the dough into three equal parts.
  5. Press each portion of dough into greased or oiled mini tartlet molds, shaping it with your fingers.
  6. Bake the tartlet bases in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Remove the tartlet bases from the oven and let them cool before demolding.
  8. Spread two teaspoons of sugar-free jam into each tartlet base. Optionally, sprinkle with crushed pecans for extra crunch.
  9. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave and generously pour it over the tartlets.
  10. Sprinkle a pinch of fleur de sel over the chocolate and let the tartlets set in the fridge for a few minutes.

Enjoy your delicious, sugar-free, and gluten-free red fruit and chocolate tartlets!
