Ingredients:
For the Dough:

- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2.5 cups flour
For the Coating:
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the egg and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Add the butter, cornstarch, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing slowly until a soft, non-sticky dough forms.
- Shape the Dough:
- Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- Roll each part into a log shape (cylinder).
- Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on the counter and sprinkle it with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place the dough logs on the cinnamon-sugar mixture and roll them to coat evenly.
- Wrap the logs in the plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Bake the Cookies:
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F).
- Remove the dough logs from the refrigerator and slice them into cookies about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place the cookie slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
