Ingredients:

  • 2-3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf tin with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, honey, peanut butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and baking powder until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin.
  5. Bake for approximately 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  6. If you notice the loaf browning too quickly, place a piece of aluminum foil lightly over the top to prevent burning.

Once baked, remove the peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread from the oven, let it cool, slice, and enjoy! This delicious treat is gluten-free, dairy-free, and naturally sweetened, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a healthier banana bread option.
