Ingredients:

  • For the Cake:
    • 130g butter, room temperature
    • 100g sugar
    • 3 eggs
    • 150g sour cream
    • 120g flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 100g whole poppy seeds

    • 4 dl milk
    • 100g sugar
    • 2 vanilla pudding mixes
    • 2 dl heavy cream
  • For the Chocolate Glaze:
    • 150g chocolate
    • 3 tablespoons oil

Instructions:

  1. Make the Cake: Whip butter until fluffy, then add sugar and continue to beat. Incorporate eggs one at a time. Add sour cream and mix briefly. Combine flour and baking powder, then fold into the egg mixture. Lastly, stir in the poppy seeds. Pour into a greased 25x35 cm baking tray and bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Prepare Vanilla Cream: Dissolve pudding mixes in part of the milk. Boil the remaining milk with sugar, then add the pudding mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
