Preparation:

  1. Start with the filling by chopping the white chocolate. In a saucepan, whisk together sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, and cornstarch. Gradually add milk.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until it boils and thickens into a pudding. Continue cooking for 2 more minutes, remove from heat, and mix in white chocolate. Strain if lumpy.
  3. Cover the pudding with plastic wrap directly on the surface and cool completely.
