Apple Cheesecake Buns with Crumble Topping and Sweet Glaze
Soft yeast buns filled with creamy cheesecake and cinnamon apples, topped with a buttery crumble and finished with a vanilla glaze.

Dough:
- ¾ cup 180 ml warm milk
- 2¼ teaspoons 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2½ cups 315 g all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup 57 g unsalted butter, softened
Cheesecake Filling:
- 6 oz 170 g cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup 30 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Apple Topping:
- 2 medium apples peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Crumble Topping:
- ¼ cup 30 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold butter diced
Glaze:
- ½ cup 60 g powdered sugar
- 1 –2 tablespoons milk
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Make yeast dough and let rise until doubled.
Prepare apple topping, cheesecake filling, and crumble. Cool.
Divide dough, shape into rounds, press in centers.
Fill with cheesecake and apple. Top with crumble.
Let rise again, then bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.
Drizzle with glaze and serve warm or cooled.
