Stitch-Inspired Tropical Blue Cake Roll
A bright blue sponge cake rolled with pineapple-coconut whipped cream filling and decorated to look like Stitch. Soft, fun, and perfect for parties

Sponge Cake:
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup 100 g granulated sugar
- ¾ cup 90 g cake flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ cup 60 ml milk
- 2 tablespoons 30 ml vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Blue food coloring gel recommended
Tropical Cream Filling:
- 1 cup 240 ml heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup 30 g powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon pineapple or coconut extract
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese or mascarpone optional
Decorations:
- ½ cup whipped cream or buttercream tinted blue
- Chocolate chips white and dark
- Black food gel or melted dark chocolate
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a jelly roll pan with parchment.
Whip eggs and sugar until thick and pale.
Fold in sifted flour and baking powder.
Mix milk, oil, vanilla, and blue coloring; gently fold into batter.
Pour into pan, bake 12–14 minutes. Cool rolled in towel.
Whip cream with sugar and flavoring. Add optional cheese for thickness.
Unroll sponge, spread filling, and roll again. Chill.
Decorate with blue cream, chocolate eyes, and features. Chill before slicing.
