Ingredients for the Baklava Base:

  • 6 phyllo pastry sheets
  • 50g butter
  • 100g pistachios
  • 80g pecans, almonds, cashews, or walnuts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 250g white cheese 5% (Tnuva)
  • 250g cream cheese 30%
  • 200ml sour cream 27% (Tnuva)
  • 200ml sour cream 15%
  • 1¼ cups sugar (270g)
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup sweet cream for whipping 32% (The White Chef)
  • 3 tbsp vanilla pudding powder

Ingredients for the Topping:

  • 200ml sour cream 15% (Tnuva)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

    • Butter a 22cm diameter pan and layer phyllo sheets, buttering each layer.
