    • Chill the dough wrapped in plastic for at least 30 minutes.
    • Roll out the dough and place it in a greased 20 cm round baking pan, pressing along the edges.
  2. Making the Crème Pâtissière:
    • Whisk eggs, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl.
    • Heat milk in a saucepan with the vanilla pod (split and seeded).
    • Gradually mix the hot milk into the egg mixture, then return it to the saucepan.
    • Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    • Remove the vanilla pod and cool the cream slightly.
  3. Assembling the Flan:
    • Let the pudding filling cool completely.
    • Pour the filling into the crust, spreading evenly.
  4. Baking:
    • Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
    • Cool for about 4 hours before serving.
