Ingredients:

  • 20g fresh yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 5-5.5 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Butter (for layering)
  • White cheese (for filling)

For the Topping:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients except flour in a mixing bowl. Gradually add flour to form a soft, slightly sticky dough. Finally, oil your hands and gather the dough. Cover and let it rise for 45 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 16 equal balls. Place a teaspoon of butter on each.
