Ingredients: Cake Base:

  • 500 g of apricots
  • 100 g of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup (small) of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g (1.5 cups) of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

Topping:

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 200 g of cream
  • Sliced almonds for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Mix the cake base ingredients and knead into a dough. Line a 26 cm baking pan with parchment paper and press the dough into the pan.
