Instructions:

1. Creating the Base: a. In a food processor, blend Oreo cookies until they achieve a fine, crumbly texture. b. Melt the dairy-free butter in a small saucepan over low heat. c. Combine melted butter with the cookie crumbs in the processor. The mixture should resemble wet sand and hold its shape when pressed. d. Press this mixture into a lightly greased 9-inch tart tin, both at the bottom and along the sides. Refrigerate to set while you prep the fillings.

2. Crafting the Blood-red Caramel: a. You can utilize a vegan-friendly store-bought caramel sauce or make your own. b. Add the caramel to a bowl and integrate a drop of red food gel. Stir until color is uniform. c. Pour this eerie red caramel over the base and spread evenly. Return to the fridge to let it solidify a bit.

3. Dark Ganache Delight: a. Create a bain-marie: place the dark chocolate in a heat-proof bowl above a saucepan with a quarter filled with water on low to medium heat. Melt the chocolate. b. Add evaporated milk or coconut cream to the melted chocolate and whisk to a smooth consistency. c. Pour this over the caramel layer, smoothing with a spatula.

4. Spider Web Design: a. In a similar bain-marie setup, melt the white chocolate. Once melted, funnel it into a piping bag and cut a small opening at its tip. b. To form a spider web, first pipe radial lines from the tart’s center. Then, create curved lines between them. It’s ideal to do this while the ganache is still unset for a seamless integration.

5. Spooky Spider Assembly (optional): a. To craft the spiders, take mini Oreo halves and pipe dark chocolate legs on either side. Sandwich another Oreo half on top using more chocolate. b. Use the white chocolate to craft eyes, with a dot of dark chocolate in the center for pupils. Let these critters set in the fridge.

6. Finishing Touches: a. Once the tart has set (typically in 2-3 hours), place the spooky spiders on top. b. Slice with a sharp knife, unveil this hauntingly delightful tart to your guests, and enjoy!
