- 1.5 cups Flour
- 3 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- 1 tea glass Vegetable Oil
- 1 packet Baking Powder
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
For Moistening the Cake:
- 1 tea glass Milk
For the Cream:
- 1 liter Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
For the Ganache:
- 1 packet Cream
- 150 g Chocolate
Additional:
- 14 mini Bananas or 7 regular Bananas, halved
Preparation:
- Cake: Whisk eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add oil and milk, mix gently. Sift in flour and cocoa, fold in carefully to keep the batter airy. Pour into a lightly greased rectangular baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 25-30 minutes.
- Cream: Combine milk, sugar, flour, and cornstarch in a pot. Cook while stirring until it thickens. Add butter and vanilla, let it cool. Once cool, add a packet of whipped cream powder and whip with a mixer.
- Assembling the Cake: Once the cake has cooled, moisten it with a tea glass of milk. Spread the cooled cream over the cake. Arrange banana slices on top.
- Ganache: Heat the cream in a small pot. Add chocolate, stir until smooth. Gently pour over the bananas, being careful not to disturb their arrangement.
- Final Touch: Decorate as desired. For best results, let the cake rest for a day before serving.
