For the Cake:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups (400 ml) flour
  • 1 cup (200 ml) sugar
  • 1 cup (200 ml) milk
  • 1 cup (200 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder

For the Cream:

  • 600 ml cream (whipping cream)
  • 300g cream cheese (labne)
  • 2 packets vanilla or 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (200 ml) powdered sugar
  • Optional: cream stabilizer
  • 1 bowl frozen blueberries or your preferred fruit

For the Chocolate Sauce:

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 150 ml cream

Instructions:

  1. For the cake, beat eggs with vanilla and sugar until light. Add milk and oil, continue beating. Mix in flour and baking powder. Pour into a greased cake tin and bake at 180°C (356°F) for 25-30 minutes. Do a toothpick test and let it cool.
  2. For the cream, whip the cream with stabilizer and powdered sugar until thick. Add cream cheese and vanilla, continue whipping. Fold in blueberries.
  3. Spread the cream mixture over the cooled cake.
  4. For the chocolate sauce, heat the cream (don't boil) and add chocolates, stirring until melted. Pour over the cream layer when it's lukewarm.
  5. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight. Run a knife around the edges and remove from the tin.
