Recipe: Ingredients for 15 Doughnuts (7 cm in diameter):

  • 3.5 cups of flour (500g)
  • 1 tablespoon of dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup of water (185 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of brandy (alternatively, vodka or another 40%+ spirit)
  • Filling: Kinder spread
  • Topping: Melted white chocolate mixed with oil, Kinder Bueno White

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor with a dough hook (or by hand, though it’s more challenging), briefly mix the flour, yeast, and sugar.
  2. Add vanilla extract, eggs, oil, and water, blending until the dough forms.
  3. Once the dough comes together, add salt and knead for 10 minutes at medium speed.
  4. Incorporate the brandy and mix until evenly distributed in the dough, about 1-2 minutes. The dough will be sticky, which is normal.
  5. Let the dough rise in an oiled bowl, covered with cling film, for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
  6. After rising, knead the dough briefly to release some air, then roll it out on a floured surface to a thickness of 1.5 cm (not thinner than that, and up to 2 cm maximum).
  7. Cut out circles and place each on a square of baking paper. Brush the dough circles with oil to prevent drying out, and let them rise for another 45 minutes.
  8. After the second rise, it’s time to fry. Heat oil in a pot to 160-170°C. Use a thermometer to ensure accurate temperature.
  9. Fry each doughnut with its baking paper for about half a minute, then remove the paper. Fry each side for 1.5 to 2 minutes.
  10. Allow the doughnuts to cool slightly before filling. Transfer the Kinder spread to a piping bag and fill each doughnut.
  11. Dip each doughnut in melted white chocolate mixed with a bit of oil for the coating. Drizzle with Kinder spread for decoration and top with half a Kinder Bueno White.
