    • 1 cup granulated sugar (180g)
    • ¾ cup sunflower oil (200ml)
    • 2 ½ cups flour

    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 packet vanilla sugar
    • 2 heaped tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Cheesecake Dough:
    • 500g quark (or 2 packets cream cheese)
    • 1 egg
    • 1 packet vanilla sugar
    • A bit more than ½ cup granulated sugar
    • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder (37g) (Alternatively, use 2 tablespoons vanilla pudding powder or cornstarch in Turkey)

Instructions:

  1. For the cheesecake dough, mix quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, and pudding powder. Place the mixture in a piping bag.
  2. For the cocoa dough, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add sunflower oil and milk. Sift in the remaining dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Spread the cocoa dough evenly in a greased baking pan.
  3. Pipe the cheesecake mixture onto the cocoa base in diagonal stripes, alternating directions to create a quilt pattern.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (338°F) for approximately 45 minutes. Don’t forget to do a toothpick test to ensure it’s cooked through.
