  • 150g Granulated Sugar
  • 100g Light Brown Sugar
  • 120ml Milk (unsweetened almond milk or your choice)
  • 170g All-Purpose Flour
  • 45g Cocoa Powder
  • 10g Corn Starch
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 50g Chocolate Chips (plus more for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C). Grease an 8×8-inch square baking tin and line it with baking paper.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together either over a pan of simmering water or in the microwave. Stir until smooth.
  3. Dissolve Sugars: In a small pot, mix the granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and milk. Gently heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, but do not let it boil. Allow the mixture to cool for 3-4 minutes.
