Nutella Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 130g All-Purpose Flour
  • 60g Hazelnut Flour or Almond Flour
  • 100g Granulated Sugar
  • 50g Light Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 160g Milk (oat, coconut, or almond)
  • 40g Neutral Oil or Hazelnut Oil
  • 6g White Vinegar

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 6-inch cake ring with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together milk and vinegar. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then add the oil and sugars, stirring lightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the sifted dry ingredients and the nut flour to the liquid mixture, stirring gently until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake ring. Drop a few spoonfuls of Nutella onto the batter.

  • 226g Salted Butter
  • 190g Powdered Sugar
  • 12g Cocoa Powder
  • 10g Cream
  • 175g Nutella, room temperature

Method:

  1. In a stand mixer with a whisk attachment, whip the butter until fluffy and light in color, about 10 minutes. Be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and cream in two batches, mixing well after each addition.
